Previously, as Managing Creative Director at Scholz & Friends Hamburg, Markus led the agency’s creative vision and was instrumental in integrating technology into creative processes and output. In 2021, Markus founded his own business, realizing a career-long ambition to work more closely with clients, which is embodied in the name c/o. Together with a small, and highly efficient team, he now serves global companies as a strategic-creative consultancy and full-service agency. An internationally acclaimed creative, Markus has won numerous industry awards, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, and The One Show. Outside of work, Markus enjoys snowboarding, sailing, and since moving to Hamburg in 2007, is a keen rower.

 

While studying American Linguistics at university, a summer job at an ad agency sparked Kristian’s passion for advertising. Over the past 15 years, he has gained experience at top German agencies across industries such as automotive, beauty, FMCG, and insurance. Before joining Markus, Kristian worked at Jung von Matt Hamburg with global clients like Beiersdorf, MAN, and Deichmann.
